Stocks wrap winning Monday, Nasdaq has best day since June

U.S. stocks rose across the board Monday following Biden's decision to drop out of the 2024 race for the White House.

All three of the major market averages ended the session higher as the Nasdaq Composite registered its best day since June with help from Nvidia. Reports surfaced that the AI chipmaker is working on a new chip dedicated to China.

Additionally, it will be a busy week of corporate earnings with reports from Tesla Tuesday as well as GM, Ford and Google parent Alphabet later in the week.
